The 2022 Best Fish Fry Tournament
Just in time for the 2022 Lent Season, we hosted a tournament for the best Fish Fry in WNY.
Fish Fries can be found throughout the Buffalo area year round but Lent season is upon us again and that means that everyone goes insane for some battered fish, French fries and macaroni salad. It’s time for online pre-orders that sell out before noon, angry people waiting in lines at their local grocery store, dining in church basements and your annual trips to a certain restaurant/bars.
We decided to celebrate our love of the Fish Fry this year with a 16 seed tournament in the first week of Lent. We know we missed some favorites and we probably could have expanded this tournament to 32 seeds, but choices were made and we are sticking by them. The following list is a nice selection of long time classic bars and restaurants, some new kids on the scene and some stuff in between. Below is our full list of contestants and the schedule for this week. As always, voting will take place on our twitter account and will go from 10am (ish) to 10pm (ish).
