Introducing: The Lemon Room

This new cocktail bar and restaurant in Wilson, NY offers seasonal and local ingredients in their menus.

I took the scenic route to a new spot up in Wilson, NY.

Meet the Lemon Room established this past May, by our new friends Candyce and Dave. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home.

The menu features many products from local farms and businesses, including the blueberries from Coulter Farms in my Berries in Bloom gin cocktail and the peaches from Senek Farms in my Stonefruit Smash bourbon cocktail. The menu also features a delicious array of small plates and sandwiches, the standout being the Sharp Italian.

At the very end of the meal, we were surprised with a warm apple tart with vanilla a la mode, the high note of the evening. This meal was definitely the start of a beautiful friendship and we will be heading back in a few weeks to try the new seasonal menu that currently being crafted.
